Brownsville prepares for Hurricane Emily

I am in Alaska and at home at the Gulf coast trouble is brewing. My hometown Brownsville is in the path of hurricane Emily!

How do I get the information? I am in Whittier, AK, http://whittierforum.yukontel.com/index.htm
parking in front of sportsman historical bar now also called Internet bar. The bar is closed in the morning but the wireless internet connection can be picked up outside after some trial and error location exploration with my Laptop. You can see I am very nervous about what Emily will do.

Ute that is very scary to see a hurricane coming towards your home! Reminds me of last summer when Fairbanks, AK had all the fires and we had to get ready for an evacuation. Nature is truly powerful. I haven't heard the news lately - but did the hurricane hit - what is the status at home?

I have this great image of you sitting outside the bar in Whittier with your laptop! You need to get a picture! smile.gif

Best to you and your family!
