Once you boarded the Healey will there be any sunsets at all?
Or does the sun set and it is just not getting dark? cool.gif

Hi Tina!
Thanks for this interesting question. We will have 24 hour daylight most of the time in August and very long days in September.

Here two good websites to check out:
Day and night earth

Us Naval Oservatory http://aa.usno.navy.mil/data/ gives you all the data you need. It will be especially interesting to aviation people like you (sunrise, sunset by definition of FAA or...)

Hello Ute and Tina,
Here's another website I came across that shows information about hours of daylight/darkness in the Arctic. I think it's really neat because it shows how there are large differences even within the Arctic Circle, depending on where you are.

I see, well then you better take some good, polarized sunglasses.

So will you be doing anything to prepare for acclimating yourself to the new type of circumstances, such as sleeping through daylight???

This Inquiring Mind wants to know...
