Hi Thomas. Two people on our trip saw arctic foxes when we were in Kangerlussauq. The foxes had white fur. I didn't see them because they ran away too quickly. On the ice sheet at Summit, there is no wildlife or plant life outside. It is too cold. Occassionally, a bird will get lost and will fly here by accident. Unless someone captures the bird and brings it in, it will freeze to death. sad.gif I have heard stories of people catching a lost bird and bringing them inside untill the next flight back to Kangerlussauq. So far, I haven't seen any birds on the ice sheet, which is a good thing.
