Hi Dylan. This plane is a C-130 Hercules transport plane. It is a military plane. It can land on a regular runway. The military also can put sleds on the wheels so that the plane can land in the Arctic or in Antarctica. You make a good observation about all those propellers. The plane needs a lot of thrust to take off when it is carrying heavy loads. The more propellers the plane has, the more thrust it will have. This plane is designed to carry lots of cargo so it needs a lot of thrust.
