Summary: They looked for bird and mammal bones also cleaning dirt balls to make sure none were missed. They also found a bone of an extinct Japanese sea lion in the midden of one of the war trenches. Between two depressions (possibly former homes), they found some charcoal, bird bones, and ceramic. Mrs. Nikula got to see porpoises (an animal I did a report on! biggrin.gif ) jump over the boat and dive in the water effortlessly. She also unearthed a pure white tear-drop shaped projectile point a couple days later.

New knowledge: Depressions in the area could possibly be former homes. A "fog lee" is what it's called when the fog disapears a bit in a certain area.....I think. I'm just making an inference, really.

Questions: Are there any reptiles or amphibians in the area you're at?
