What is the temperature there? It feels like 100 here and we're under a thunderstorm watch!! When you arrived in Alaska, what was your first reaction to the climate compared to East Texas?

Hi Brandon and Justin! It is good to hear from you. Sorry I did not reply yesterday, but I got in too late.

To answer your question, it was 56 degree in Fairbanks Alaska Wednesday at 12:30am when I arrived--I thought it felt good!

Today was my first day to work in the field at Toolik Field Station. It was 43 degrees, wind was blowing, and it was raining. I had to wear underarmour, long-sleeved shirt, fleece jacket, and rain gear--I was still cold. I enjoyed my day but I hope tomorrow is nicer.

Thanks for the question, please keep reading my journal!

Ms. Jordan
