What would you say would be some of the MOST important things that you could NOT forget to bring for your trip? Also, what is the closest you have ever gotten to a snow goose? I've gotten as close to 20 feet from one. wink.gif

Hi Andrea,

Some of the MOST important things that I needed on this trip were:
Warm clothes!
Lots of food
A stove to have hot food and tea for those cold days!
A tent and warm sleeping bag
Boots and rain gear!

That's probably what I would have been pretty uncomfortable without! Of course, I'm glad I had my camera and that we had the equipment to collect samples.

I got pretty close to snow geese because I picked them up! Check out the banding pictures!

Next time you are that close to a snow goose, try and catch it!
