Hi Tracy - As a high school science teacher, I try to provide my students with good female role models in the scientific community. In reading your journals and looking at your pictures, it seems most of the scientists talked about are female...is this overall true for Toolik?

Hello! Thank you for your question. I was assigned to an entire team of female scientists! There are six females on the team. It has been a wonderful experience. I would say that females and males are equally represented at Toolik Lake Research Station. It is very exciting!
