Hi Kenny,

Kayaking was really fun. I wish I would have had more time to spend just kayaking all around the Ikpikpuk. Maybe another summer! It would be fun to have a kayak in Barrow to cross the lagoons in town or go out to Elson Lagoon, wouldn't it?

I was out there for eight days the first time. It was very nice! Quiet except for the birds flying around and singing. Mostly small birds, Lapland longspurs and Sandpipers. The geese were far off in the distance.

The second time I was there for 4 days. That was during the banding, so there were lots of noisy geese around.

I loved being out there. Do you go out camping very often?
