Working with Arctic Communities is a PowerPoint presentation by Sean Topkok, Indigenous Curriculum Specialist with Alaska Native Knowledge Network. The presentation was created for TREC teachers traveling to arctic communities. The presentation provides an overview of the native cultures in Alaska as well guidelines for respecting native cultural knowledge. Tips on overcoming obstacles when working in rural Alaskan villages and how to make the most of the unique experience are also provided.
