That depends on the weather because we don't want to stress the animals out if it's too hot or too cold. I guess that it also depends on the type of goose and the number of people that are helping you. We were banding about 400 geese a day but allot of time was spent driving the geese to the catch pen. When I worked on Black Brant geese in SW Alaska we would have banding drives of up to 2000 geese a day. Those were some long days though!
