In one of your journals (D.R.) you mentioned that a team member was using GPS gear to map from where your ice cores have been taken. This prompted a few questions:
1) Do you intentionally take core samples from all over the lake?
2) Do you ever revisit old core sites to see how the lake ice has filled in?
3) Have you noticed significant differences in the level or composition of lake algae from one side of the lake to the other?
