So...to start...this is not a plane crashing....but it is a plane that can land on a body of water, like a lake and scoop up thousands of gallons of water. These planes are used in Arctic and other remote locations for what purpose????

Cool picture! These planes have also been used for carrying live fish from hatcheries to restock streams and lakes. The fish and water get dumped from the belly into the lake or stream...can you imagine?
