Hi Marti! Neck gaiters and balaclavas are warm things to protect your neck and face from the cold. They are hard to describe in words. Check back in a couple of days and I will send you a picture of each of them.

Hi again, Marti. I finally have a picture for you. Meredith (on the right) is wearing a neck gaiter. It is a warm tube of fabric that goes over your head and keeps your neck warm. Gayle (on the left) is wearing a type of balaclava. It keeps your neck warm plus it covers your ears and head. If it gets too cold, Gayle and Meredith can cover their noses, mouths, and chins with these great arctic inventions.
