I dont think I would like it very much there because Im really scared of polar bears. I've seen a polar bear once, but it was far away. I got scared then, so
Im not sure what I would do If I see a polar bear next to me. Do you think the
population of polar bears there is increasing or decreasing?

Hi Angela,
Since the sea ice seems to be retreating more and more the population seems to be declining on Svalbard. They need sea ice to be able to hunt for seals. Thanks for the question
