[I]Hi Mr. Bob, as you can see in my Topic Title, it is a name of a movie. "The Day After Tomorrow", i was just curious, your project had the word "climate" and it made me wonder if... THE WORLD WAS GOING TO FLOOD THEN THE CLIMATE WOULD DROP DRAMATICALLY CAUSING THE WORLD TO FREEZE OVER INTO A NEW ICE PERIOD?!?! and if so, i'd like to know... i'd like to be prepared for those types of things. the curiousity of a sixteen year old. huh.gif

Hi Tiffany,
I don't think its going to happen tomorrow , but there is concern that someday the current (gulf stream) that carries warm water to the arctic might shut down. This current ends at svalbard and would be one of the first places to experience the change and thats why a lot of climate scientists are working there. Thanks for the question
