whats up mr crum-dizzle?
how is Alaska? well am almost finished with my exam anywayz i was jus wonderin about when you told us about the snow and how at one point it was down to the ground but after a few years it kind of when up a little futher? and i was wonderin if you found out the reason why that happened?? hope you have a wonderful summer!!! thalieta |

Thalieta,
I think you are talking about one of the pictures of glaciers that I showed you. The fact that glaciers are getting smaller is one of the signs that our climate is getting warmer. So the picutre you are thinking of is snow just compressed into glacial ice by decades of pressure. When temperatures are warmer glaciers recede similar to ice melting from a lake when temperatures warm. Mr. C. |
