Hi Gilbert,

We found some broken egg shells, but no eggs. We were there later in the summer, after the eggs had hatched. In fact, the snow geese families had left the nesting grounds and were walking around the tundra feeding. We could see some snow geese in the distance, but they wouldn't let us get near them. During the snow goose banding we did capture adults and goslings. They were already pretty big though, just a few weeks away from flying.

Your father caught geese with the scientists at NARL? That's pretty cool!
