Weather- We had snow yesterday. The temperature dropped to -4.0 C. The sea ice is getting thicker (average 1 m to 3 m). The sun was visible today. We have a lot of fog.

Life on an ice breaker is very exciting. Sometimes we have lots of things to do at the same time and sometimes we have a break. Usually, things go not according to plan. So we have to be flexible. The food is good the people are friendly. We have a Gym onboard and movies in the evening. No TV.

Animals- Ringed Seals, Spotted seals, Polar bears, Arctic Turn (bird), Arctic cod (fish)

Now we are at 83 North and the animal sightings become sparse.
