So...to start...this is not a plane crashing....but it is a plane that can land on a body of water, like a lake and scoop up thousands of gallons of water. These planes are used in Arctic and other remote locations for what purpose????

Hi Amy,
thaks for the link..it looks like a great place to be and from the looks of the clothing fairly warm. I am sending your linkto Jim and Tim. Nana is staying with us at camp for a few weeks while she mends her fratures.
Meghan and Bob have been out..no waterskiing as yet.

Cool picture! These planes have also been used for carrying live fish from hatcheries to restock streams and lakes. The fish and water get dumped from the belly into the lake or stream...can you imagine?
