John Pailthorpe, Kevin McMahon, and Liz Morris outside the Big House. Liz and John are from the United Kingdom and had just finished their six week traverse across Greenland on snowmobiles. Along the way, they took measurements of snow density (down to 14 meters). Their ground data will be compared to satellite data in order to verify that the satellite data is correct. Their work will help the European Space Agency (ESA). | |
